It's Friday, so the Water Commission must be digging outside my house, again.

This is what I came home to on Friday afternoon.



Unbeknownst to me, the renovations in my basement apartment bathroom had uncovered, and then accidentally exacerbated, a leak in a pipe that was just waiting to completely break.



This monster vacuum truck sucked up several feet of earth and rock under the sidewalk in front of my house, down to the water main.
